Service Advisor Assistant
The Service Porter is a support position in the Service Department. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, transporting customers, pick up and delivery of parts, fuel, supplies and vehicles. Greeting customers on the Service Drive, answering phones, taking messages, placing callers on hold, transferring when appropriate, texting and e-mailing. Assisting with LRAC agreements, document scanning, filing, writing repair orders, dispatching repair orders and booking repair orders. Porters must be able to follow detailed instructions, multitask, and take notes in a fast paced environment. Requires a basic knowledge of Service functions in CDK and completion of STARS Level 1 Basic Service Advisor training within 30 days of assignment. Provide liaison between Service Advisors and Technicians. Keep the Service Department and surrounding areas clean. Responsible for closing duties such as locking all doors, shutting down the car wash, compressors, and coffee pots. Maintain dress code with name tag at all times. Uphold company policies on professional conduct, customer privacy and non-disclosure. Have a great customer serving attitude at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Licenses
Valid Driver's License
